Kenya Sevens side Shujaa will face off with world sevens series champions New Zealand, Australia and South Arica at the inaugural New York Sevens tournament in the USA.
The Damian McGrath side that was relegated from the World Sevens Series last month, will have another chance to prove their worth in the two day tournament where they will face New Zealand in the opening fixture before facing Australia and South Africa in pool A.
Hosts USA leads pool B that has Fiji and France where pool winners will compete in the final for the overall title with a purse of kshs 136 million while second-placed teams will compete in the bronze medal match while third-placed teams will fight for the plate title with the bowl final featuring fourth-placed teams in each pool.
