Kenya’s Shujaa defeated hosts Zimbabwe’s Cheetahs to proceed to the Finals against South Africa’s Sprinboks at the ongoing Africa men’s Sevens Olympic Games qualifiers at the Harare Sports Club in Harare, Zimbabwe.
The Kevin Wambua team lacked respect for the hosts, beating 35-10 in the first semifinal to book Springboks who thrashed Uganda 26-14 in the second semifinal.
Kenya scored their tries through Patrick Odongo, Nygel Amaitsi, then double from Johnas George Ooro the inside prop scored the final try for Kenya to finalize the score 35-10 knocking out the hosts who got all their unconverted tries by Ryan Masumi.
