Leading online gaming firm SportPesa reaffirmed its commitment as the factory of millionaires after unveiling ten different winners ranging from its SportPesa Mega Jackpot, Midweek Jackpot and Mega Jackpot bonus products.
In the unveiling ceremony that culminated in the Harambee Stars African Nations Championship 2024 quarterfinal match against Madagascar viewing party that took place in Ongata Rongai, the winners bagged a total of Ksh. 103,981,870.
Leading the pack was two different Mega Jackpot winners who walked away with Ksh. 69,584,992 after correctly predicting the outcome of the 14/14 SportPesa Mega Jackpot that took place on 16-17 August.
This win comes a week after the official unveiling of Bonnie Kamau who made history as the biggest-ever SportPesa Mega Jackpot winner where he claimed a life-changing Ksh. 424,660,618 after correctly predicting the outcome of the 17/17 Mega Jackpot.
Speaking during the unveiling, Juakali businessman Bernard Kilonzo from Eastleigh, who was among the two 14/14 Mega Jackpot winners, expressed his delight at the big win having been a SportPesa customer since 2017.
“I am really happy to win the SportPesa Mega Jackpot. I have been playing since 2017 and this win will help boost my business,” he said.
“In a week, I put two Midweek Jackpot bets and two Mega Jackpot bets,” Kilonzo briefly explained on his betting style.
Aside from Kilonzo and Derrick Kinyua who split the 69,584,999 Mega Jackpot prize, SportPesa also unveiled Allan Waithaka from Jogoo Road as the latest SportPesa Midweek Jackpot winner.
There were also 5 other winners who won Ksh. 5,328,353 and 3 others who won Ksh. 1,027,822 in Mega Jackpot bonuses.
On his part, SportPesa Public Relations and Advertising Manager Willis Ojwang emphasized the firm’s commitment to enhancing its customer experience that goes beyond the products.
In a recent move that saw the firm take a bold step towards a partnership with the Football Kenya Federation, taking the game to the fans was a bold move that will see the game elevated even further.
