Kenya Prisons Volleyball teams progressed to the final of governor Stanley Kiptis Volleyball tournament held today in Eldama Ravine.
The Wardens, both men and women in The opening day of the governor’s Cup semi-finals a day after Kenya Volleyball League was held at the same venue.
Kenya Prisons women team edged out Bombas 3-1 in an exiting match in court A.
The Prison won The longest first set at 29-27 and second set in 25-14 before Bombas recovered to take third set in 25-11 but the national champions won the fourth set in 25-15.
In another semifinal Kenya Pipeline Company beat Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) in three straight sets of 25-21, 25-23 and 27-25.
Prisons men counterpart beat Kenya Defense Forces (KDF) 3-0 (25-19, 25-15 and 27-25 in the second semifinal after General Service Unit (GSU) shone over Kenya Ports Authority 3-0 (25-22, 25-21 and 25-18).
