Harambee Starlets will face Crested Cranes again in the CECAFA Women Championships that kicks off on July 19th to July 27th in Rwanda’s capital, Kigali.
This is the second time the two nations are meeting a fierce football match and will also face off with defending champions Tanzania, hosts Rwanda and Ethiopia.
In the first meeting, Kenya ousted Uganda from 2018 Africa Women Cup of Nations that will be staged in Ghana in November.
Kenya beat visiting Uganda 1-0 at Machakos stadium before playing to a barren draw in the return leg in Uganda as Kenya went ahead to lose the ticket the African show to Equatorial Guinea. After beating visiting Equatorial Guinea 2-1 at the same venue, the national outfit lost 2-0 away.
Kenya will be seeking revenge against Tanzania who beat them during the 2016 championships in Uganda.
