Strathmore University side The Blades failed to set a sweet revenge against Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) in the Kenya Basketball Federation Premier League first semi-final play-off at Nyayo Stadium Gymnasium.
The reigning champions KPA thrashed Strathmore Blades 62-54, a replica of last year’s finals where KPA beat Blades to lift the title.
And yesterday, The Blades failed to launch a revenge as they failed again ahead of today’s second semi-final play-off at the same venue
In another match, Thunder roared high when they defeated Ulinzi Warriors 80-70 in the first semi-final men match.
Thunder, who had eliminated Equity Bank 2-0 in the quarter-final, led 20-11 at end of first quarter before stretching their lead to 31-25 at the breather.
