Strathmore Leos lead as Machine, USIU, Wasps tail

Relegated Strathmore University side, Strathmore Leos have set their agenda to return to Kenya Cup after taking the lead in the KRU Championships, the second-tier league.

The Leos were 17-16 winners over their university of Nairobi counterparts Mean machine.

Following the win, they have accumulated nine points from two matches.

The Catholic University of Africa side The Catholic Monks are in 4^th position with six points with a win and a loss as newly-promoted sides Northern Suburbs and Eldoret RFC lie 5^th and 6^th with five points while Kisii, South Coast Pirates, Mombasa follows.

Relegated Machine, USIU and Egerton Wasps remain winless.
