In volleyball, champions Strathmore University retained their volleyball titles Strathmore both men and women teams retained their titles following their victory at the finals to retain their titles at the concluded Kenya University Sports Federation (KUSF) at the UoE grounds.
In men, Strathmore defeated former champions Moi University 3-1 (25-14, 25-20, 23-25 and 25-21) for the title while their women counterparts beat Kisii in straight sets of 25-10, 28-26 and 25-16.
Strathmore University and Zetech University are basketball men and women champions after waloping their opponents.
Strathmore edged out Africa Nazarene University (ANU) 61-56 for the title while Zetech beat Strathmore 48-21.
In Women football, MMUST defeated Kisii in post match penalties following a barren draw in normal play. The kakamega base won 5-4 to earn the title.
Mount Kenya University (MKU) defeated Hosts for netball title in 47-33. Under the tutelage of Ramadhan Pauline who said that the game was tough.
According to the Kenya University Sports Federation Secretary General, Joseph Sandagi, the games went on well despite starting in a low key due to an accident that occurred in Naivasha, Nakuru County involving Pwani University who were on their way to the event.

In the men’s hockey match, the Kenya Premier League side Strathmore University who are known as Gladiators managed to beat Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology in 1-0 after Brian Ogenche scored a lone goal that propelled the team to victory.
Strathmore’s women side, the Scorpions also floored MMUST in 1-0 after Grace Bwire scored one goal to win the race.
