FC Talanta and Kariobangi Sharks recorded victories in today’s Kenya Premier League matches played across the country.
With only three matches on offer today, FC Talanta handed 2009 champions Sofapaka 1-0 in a match played at the Machakos stadium in Machakos County.
The Jackline Juma’s side recorded victory with the solitary goal coming from Joshua Amunike scoring from the spot in the second half against Robert matano’s team.
At the same venue, 12 time champions Tusker surrendered their 2-0 lead by losing 3-2 to Kariobangi Sharks.
Ryan Ogam scored first for Tusker after eight minutes of the start, then captain Charles Momanyi doubled the score in the 29th minute for 2-0 lead.
Tables changed when Keith Imbali halved the score to 2-1 then Ali Salim added the second and bagged a brace for the slum boys.
In another match, Bidco United played out to a one-all draw against Nairobi City Stars.
