World Athletics has joined the Kenyan athletics family in mourning the death of former Olympic 3,000m steeplechase silver medalist Benjamin Kogo.
the Nandi based legendary runner won the silver during the 1968 Olympic Games and succumbed to prostate cancer aged 77 years.
His death follows that of athletics administrator John Velzian who died last week.
Kogo also won gold at the 1965 All Africa Games before winning bronze at the 1966 Commonwealth Games
