Former World 1,500m champion Timothy Cheruiyot and former world under 20 champion Reynold Cheruiyot have qualified to compete in the men’s 1,500m final at the ongoing world Athletics Championships in Tokyo, Japan.
Timothy, who finished in heat 1 in 4th position automatically qualified into the finals set for Thursday after clocking 3:35.61 with top six making it to the finals in the fastest heat.
Reynold won heat 2 at 3:36.64 with in a slower heat 2.
