Trans Nzoia defeat Wadadia to climb second on KWPL table

Newly promoted Trans Nzoia Falcons has moved into the second position of the Kenya Women Premier League (KWPL) table.

The Trans Nzoia based club used hoe advantage score 2-0 against visiting Wadadia at  Manour Agricultural Center on Sunday.

Caren Nangila and Naomi Wanjala were on target as they stay two points behind table leaders Thika Queens.

In other KWPL results, Kayole Starlet put behind them a loss to Oserian Ladies in their last match to brush aside struggling Soccer Queens 6-2 at the Ruiru Grounds on Sunday.

Lavender Atieno and Nancy Atako each scored a goal apiece, with Yvonne Idagiza and Christine Ngoizi also getting themselves on the scoresheet for Kayole. Dhiramo Deye and Meryole Njeri netted Soccer Queens consolation goals.

Mathare United Women, meanwhile, dropped points in each of their two away matches against Vihiga Leeds and Kisumu All Starlets.
