Reigning Kenya premier league champions Tusker FC, Nairobi City Stars and Bidco United picked maximum points in today’s matches.
Tusker, which has been shooting blanks, finally got a good footing by beating former champions Mathare United 4-1 in the resechuled match played at the Ruaraka Grounds.
Tanzanian Joshua Ibrahim bagged a hat-trick with Eugene Asike scoring in his own net and Clifford Alwanga scoring Mathare’s consolation.
Newbies Nairobi City Stars edged out former champions Gor Mahia 0-2 with goals from Ezekiel Odera (38) and substitute Anthony Kimani (71st) at the at Nyayo stadium while Bidco beat Wazito by a solitary goal at the Thika stadium.
Nzoia Sugar played to a 2-all draw against KCB at the Utalii College as Kenya Police and Posta Rangers registered similar score at the Thika Stadium.
