Tusker, KCB, Sofapaka and Bidco draw

Top of the table battle ended up in a draw when KCB came from behind to collected a point from leaders Tusker FC in today’s Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKF-PL) match.

Tusker came from 2-0 goal down to draw 2-2 at the Thika Stadium.

Tusker made the first inroad into their opponent’s territory when Boniface Muchiri darted down the left channel past his markers before unleashing a rasping shot that sent Joseph Okoth into a full length save.

KCB’s Derrick Otanga broke the deadlock in the 24th minute and Robert Mboya’s goal for a 2-0 lead but Humprey Mieno halved the score in the 81st minute Jackson Machara leveled the score for a 2-all draw at the final whistle.

The results leave Tusker at the summit of the log with 51 points as KCB remain rooted in second with 47

It was another draw as hosts Bidco United and Sofapaka FC battled to a barren draw at Thika Stadium.

The two sides recorded a similar result in the first leg encounter. Following the result, Sofapaka maintained their 11th place on the log with 29 points, while Bidco remain 12th on 28 points.
