Ulinzi and Madira win in Women league

Newly promoted side Bungoma Queens suffered a loss at home to Ulinzi Starlets in today’s Kenya Women Premier League encounter played at the Sudi stadium in Bungoma.

Rasoha Siliya bagged a brace with Keziah Ngaira scoring a goal with Bungoma Queens scoring a consolation through Catherine Khaemba.

Ngaira opened the score for the soldiers in the 45th minute before SSiliya doubling in the 50th minute and sealing the victory with a brace in the 69th minute while Khaemba was on target in the 84th minute as first leg comes to an end.

At Vihiga Mumboha stadium, Charity Midewa scored in the 45th minute to enables Madira Soccer Assassins to secure the three points against Gaspo women.

The three points now uplift the new babies comes to unend to pave way for leg two.

Madira who were in position ten with 8 points before the match facing relegation together with Gaspo position 11 with five points and Tranzoia Falcons who were relegated after missing three matches consecutively .

Currently Vihiga Queens is taking lead with 24 points followed by Kenya police Bullets with 19 points, Ulinzi Starlets and Kibera ladies each with 18 points with goal difference setting pace.
