Two time FKF Cup women Champions Ulinzi Starlets have overtaken holders Kenya Police Bullets to the summit of the Kenya Women Premier League following their victory against Soccer Assassins today at the Ulinzi Sports Complex.
Elizabeth Mideva scored the solitary goal for the soldiers 1-0 win against Assassins as the battle on who to win the title enters homestretch.
The victory propelled Ulinzi to the summit with 38 points, one more than champions Bullets 37 points with Ulinzi playing 16 matches, one better than Bullets with 16 matches.
In other weekend matches, Trinity Starlets remained in third positions after a 2-1 against three time champions Vihiga Queens. Their victory hands then to 34 points.
In Bungoma on Friday, Bullets managed to sink their hosts Bungoma Bullets 2-1.
