Unbeaten Mathare, Bandari secure wins

Mathare United maintained their unbeaten run in the Kenya Premier league (KPL) fixture by edging out Tusker at Ruaraka grounds today.

But fate continues to pile against Mount kenya United formerly Nakumatt fc as they went down to visiting Bandari at Afraha stadium in Nakuru.

Following the win, The slam boys beat the brewers 2-1 and will continue enjoying top of the table until the next fixture.

Johnstone Omurwa and James Kinyanjui scored for Mathare in both halves to secure maximum points to tally their points to 17 as Peter Nzuki pulled one back for the hosts.

After finishing second last season, Bandari has had good run in the KPL. And today, they managed to defeat struggling Mount kenya United 2-1.

Hassan Abdallah scored the opener for the Dockers in the 15th minute as William Wadri converted a penalty to level the score on the 52nd minute.
