Champions Vihiga Queens and Thika Queens maintained their top spot in the Kenya Women Premier League tables.
Vihiga, who have only dropped two points following a draw, defeated their serious rivals Trans Nzoia Falcons 3-2 in a match played at the Kenyatta Stadium Kitale.
Former Eldoret Falcons striker and Harambee Starlets player Janet Moraa, Topister Situma and Tereza Engesha were on target for Alex Almuria side while Violet Nanjala and Joan Naliaka scored for the hosts.
Following the win, Vihiga leads Zone B with 19 points from seven matches played so far in a league that has eight teams.
Thika Queens remained the unbeaten side, leading Zone A with 21 points from seven matches.
Following a 3-0 win over Mathare United Women, Thika remains unbeaten, leading second placed Ulinzi Starlets with six points.
