Wazito ends Shabana’s unbeaten run as Ushuru maintains good form at NSL

Wazito ended the newly promoted Shabana first defeat in the National Super League (NSL) in a match played today at Gusii stadium as Eldoret Youth, playing at Eldoret Showground drew against Kibera Black Stars.

Sole goal from Zachary Githu earned the vising Wazito that was relegated from KPL all needed points, silencing home fans.

The 65th minute goal redeemed Nairobi based team, handing the first loss for Gilbert Selebwa since taking over as head coach Shabana as his opponent Mohamed Muchulla celebrated the win.

In Eldoret, hosts Eldoret Youth played to one-all-draw against Kibera Black Stars at Eldoret Showground.

The matchg had to wait until 82nd minute when Tony Barasa scored for the visitors but Anthony Chingwa leveled foe the hosts on the 90th minute.

In other NSL matches, Bidco United thrashed Migori Youth 4-1 before leaders Ushuru stunned hosts Thika United 2-0 at Thika Stadium as Nairobi City Stars held Coast Stima 2-2 at Mbaraki Sports Club, Mombasa.
