Harambee Stars Captain Victor Wanyama has ruled himself out the crucial Swaziland and Equatorial Guinea friendly matches to be played on Friday and Monday respectively.
The Tottenham midfielder said he needs time to rest after the English Premier League came to an end a fortnight ago.
With the national team preparing for the forthcoming 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Ghana in September, Wanyama was expected to play a pivotal role in the Sebastien Migne’s first time international match.
The 26-year old midfielder also confirmed he will not be available for Harambee Stars tour of India which starts on June 1.
in India, Migne is expected to lead his charges in three friendlies against New Zealand, India and Chinese Taipei.
