Vihiga Queens will be chasing to play at the semifinals of the ongoing Council for East and Central Africa Football Association (Cecafa) Women’s Club Championship CAF qualifiers tomorrow.
The Kenyan side will be facing off with Zanzibar’s New Generation in a must win match at the Kasarani stadium.
After losing 4-2 to Ethiopia’s Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE), the Vihiga County based thrashed South Sudan’s Yei Joint Stars 11-0 to make their semifinals alive.
Vihiga Queens are second in Group “B” with three points, three behind leaders Commercial Bank of Ethiopia who have already qualified for the semis.
The Kenyans need to beat Zanzibar’s New Generation convincingly and hope Yei Joint Stars of South Sudan, also on three points but with an inferior goal difference, fail to beat ECB.
