Kenya’s Vihiga Queens will be seeking to redeem their image when they face off with Yei Joint Stars in tomorrow’s inaugural Council for East and Central Africa Football Association (Cecafa) Women’s Club championship qualifiers at the Kasarani Stadium.
Vihiga, which lost the opening fixture on Sunday against Ethiopia Commercial Bank (ECB) 4-2 has to win against their South Sudan outfit to increase their chances of making it to the semifinals.
The loss put them in third place in Group B with no points so far while ECB leads the table with three points, joint on top with Yei Joint Stars.
At the same time, ECB will be playing New Generation of Zanzibar in another Group B match.
