Premier league returnees Vihiga United and former champions Tusker and Sofapaka won their matches today in the FKF Premier League encounters played across the country.
Vihiga, who defeated premier league side Kisumu llStars in the promotion playoffs shocked Gor Mahia with a 1-0 victory in a mach played at Moi Sports centre, Kasarani before Tusker, who jumped on top of the table beat Zoo Kericho 2-1.
Dennis Simiyu scored the only goal in the 86th minute for Vihiga to seal the victory against champions Gor Mahia.
