Former France marathon champion Visiline Jepkesho led a 1-2 podium positions for Kenyan runners during the Ljubljanski Marathon ran on Sunday.
Jepkesho clocked 2:22:58 compatriot Selly Chepyego who timed 2:23:15 as Ethiopia’s Kuma Dibabe was in third place after clocking 2:23:34.
It was reverse in men’s race as Ethiopian took top two positions with Tewelde Heskel winning in 2:08:49 ahead of Abshero Ayele who clocked 2:09:12 as Kenya’s Geoffrey Kusuro sealed the podium places in 2:10:53.
