Former London marathon champion Vivian Cheruiyot and Elisha Rotich are set to face off at the Paris marathon set for Sunday 7th in Paris, France.
Cheruiyot, who is the 2016 Rio Olympic 5,000 gold medallist, will be seeking to gauge her strength after returning from an injury.
The multiple-world champion will be up against Ethiopians Buzunesh Getachew, Rahma Tusa, Etagegne Woldu, Haven Hailu and Gelete Burka among others.
In the men’s category, Kenya will be represented by Elisha Rotich, Hillary Kipsambu, Brimin Kipkorir and Titus Kipruto. The quartet will be up against Ethiopian nemesis including Mekuant Ayenew, Chalu Deso, Bazezew Asmare andGizealew Ayana among others.
