Kenya volleyball men national team Wafalme Spikers have been handed a walk over by Tanzania in the ongoing Men’s Africa national volleyball championships in Kigali, Rwanda.
Kenya, which was to play Tanzania today in a must win match to secure a quarterfinal qualification is a blessing in disguise and will now wait for the matches between Egypt and Morocco to determine their fate.
Wafalme defeated former champions Egypt 3-2 and lost to Morocco 3-1 yesterday and with maximum points against Tanzania, Kenya stand a chance to proceed.
After forfeiting the game, Kenya was handed the points 3-0 (25-0, 25-0, 25-0 win.
