Wanga, Isuza and Bwire dropped

Kenya Premier League (KPL) top scorer Allan Wanga has been axed from Harambee Stars 27 man squad set to leave the country for a residential camp in France ahead of Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals in Cairo, Egypt.

The Kakamega Homeboyz striker has netted 18 goals following the end of the KPL season yesterday as head coach Sebastien Migne named the travelling team today.

The experienced Wanga was named in the provisional squad as a striker with John Aire, Michael Olunga, Masud Juma and Christopher Mbamba.

Stars is in pool C alongside Algeria, Senegal and Tanzania ahead of the continental show set to begin on June 23rd.

Wanga joined AFC Leopards midfielder Whyvonne Isuza and Kariobangi Sharks goalkeeper Brian Bwire.
