Allan Wanga continued with his top form after securing a win for Kakamega Homeboyz maximum points in the Kenya Premier League (KPL) match played today at Bukhungu stadium.
Wanga scored a solitary goal to seal their victory against struggling Mount Kenya United to help his side move to 4th position in the KPL standing as the league heads into homestretch.
He scored his 15th goal of the season in the 29th minute after connecting Peter Thiongo’s cross to seal the victory at home.
The veteran striker also secured a point for his team in a match against cgampions Gor Mahia on Friday at the same venue.
Gor, who were almost running away with the title, Wanga leveled in the dying minutes to secure a point for the homeside.
The win was good for Homeboyz who jumps over Mathare United into 4th place on the log with 41 points after 25 matches.
