Wanjala beat Kiragu to retain Chess Kenya chairman post

Bernard wanjala retained his position as the Chess Kenya President after beating his close competitor Judith Kiragu Mwashe in today’s national elections.

wanjala garnered 109 votes against Kiragu’s 13 and will spearhead the federation for the next four years following the postponement of the elections that were to be held last year due to coronavirus.
