Former All Africa Games 5,000m silver medalist Rosemary Wanjiru Monica and Weldon Kipkirui will be chasing the 10km Valencia Ibercaja Road race tomorrow in Valencia, Spain.
Monica will be up against former world 2,000m steeplechase champion Norah Jeruto and Dorcas Jepchumba Kimeli as well as reigning World 5,000m silver medalist Margaret Chelimo for the title.
It will be the battle of wits men when Kirui take on world under 20 3,000m champion Tadese Worku for the title.
The duo will be battling with kenya’s Collins Kipkorir Koros who also carries a pb of 27:27 that he got when he finished sixth at the Adizero Road to Records, Spaniard Juan Antonio Chiki, Ronald Kiprotich from Kenya and Uganda’s Maxwell Kortek Rotich among others.
