Harambee Stars captain Victor Wanyama netted a goal as his side Montreal Impact stunned D.C United in the Canadian top league.
After netting his goal, Wanyama was the man-of-the-match performance on Sunday winning 3-2 despite finisng the match with ten men.
Following the win, Impact clinched a place in the MLS Cup playoffs at Audi Field.
Wanyama is now expected to link up with the rest of his teammates ahead of Wednesday’s 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Comoros at the Nyayo National Stadium and return led on November 15.
