Wazito fc and Kisumu All Stars have returned to Kenya Premier league for 2019/2020 season following their good run in the National Super League.
Wazito, who were demoted last year finished top of the second tire league with 81 points to return to KPL.
But celebration was high in Kisumu All Stars camp as they return to top flight football league after two decades of long wait after finishing second with 70 points.
Wazito and Kisumu All Stars were identical 7-1 winners against St Joseph’s Youth and Thika United at Camp Toyoyo and Thika stadium respectively when Wazito were crowned champions while Kisumu All Stars finished second.
They replace Mount Kenya United and Vihiga United who were relegated from the top-flight.
But Nairobi Stima that finished third after seeing off Eldoret Youth 4-2 in their match and they will now face off with Posta Rangers to determine which side of the side will be in the Premier League and NSL respectively.
