Western Bulls, Kisumu battle for bragging rights

Western Bulls and Kisumu RFC will be p[laying for bragging rights when they face-off at the KRU Championships finals on Saturday at Kakamega Showground.

With the two teams already qualified for Kenya Cup, the top most Kenyan rugby league, the foght will be who will claim the title to brag as the second tier’s best.

The match will be the curtaiun raiser for the Kenya Cup finals between league leaders Kabras Sugar and defending champions  Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB).

Bulls were winners against United States International University (USIU) 16-22 as Kisumu edged out Catholic Monks 11-14 at last weekend’s semifinals.

The duo replaces Strathmore Leos and Mean Machine who were demoted this season.
