Football Kenya Federation (FKF) declared the end of all football league season, handing Gor Mahia the title and promoting Nairobi City Stars and Bidco United, one player is eyeing the golden boot.
Timothy Otieno from Tusker, who was the top scorer in the season, if Kenya Premier League (KPL) will not continue then he will earn the boot.
He managed to score a total of 15 goals after 23 rounds, with teams now advised to start preparations for next season.
With 15 goals, Otieno leads Tusker FC John Mark Makwatta who managed 13 for AFC Leopards but is currently in Zambia with Zesco United. Kenya Commercial Bank’s Enock Agwanda will finish 3rd with 12 goals.
Enosh Ochieng of Ulinzi Stars, Elvis Rupia of Wazito and Western Stima youngster Benson Omalla follow on 9 goals each.
