Wiyeta, Kwanthanze, Kesegon and Dagoretti to renew their rivalry at school games

National champions Kwanthanze High schhol will renew their rivalry with Chesegon at the finals of Federation of East Africa Secondary School games in Arusha, tanzania.

Kwanthaze beat Kesegon to win the national title in Nakuru 25-20, 17-25, 13-25 and 19-25 and the same will be played tomorrow with Kesegon from Trans nzoia setting up a revenge tomorrow when they face off at the regional finals.

At the semifinals, Kesegon beat Tanzania’s Mkalapa in straight sets of 25-15, 25-17 and 25-17) while Kwanthanze were 3-1 winners against Rwanda’s IPRC Kigali in 25-16, 23-25, 25-11 and 25-22).

In football, it will be another Kenyan affair when champions Wiyeta take on countrymate Dagoretti Mixed where Wiyeta beat Dagoretti 4-1 on post-match penalties.

Dagoretti thrashed Uganda’s Sacred Heart Gulu 5-0.

In basketball, Kenya’s Dr Aggrey Secondary School, who are debuting at the games, will face Uganda’s Bethel Covenant in Thursday’s semis, as defending champions Buddo Secondary School (Uganda) play Rwandese side Lycee De Kigali.
