Kenya Premier league champions Kenya Police will be facing off with Somalia’s Mogadishu City Club in the CAF Champions League play off.
Following the draws made today in Tanzania, the law enforcers returns to the continental championships after CAF Confederation Cup exit last year.
The competition’s preliminary round is set for 19–21 September, with return legs scheduled for 26–28 September with aggregate winner will face off with South Sudan’s Jamus FC Juba or Sudanese giants Al Hilal then aggregate winner will advance to the coveted group stage.
Kenya Police will be eager to improve on last year’s showing in the CAF Confederation Cup, where they bowed out in the second preliminary round to Egyptian giants Zamalek after edging out Ethiopian opposition in the first round.
