Kenya Junior Starlets ready for Uganda’s Teen Cranes in FIFA U17 Women World Cup Qualifier

Junior Starlets will be hoping to maintain their good run against Uganda when they face off at the FIFA Under 17 Women’s World qualifier come Saturday at the Nyayo National stadium.

Uganda will be hoping to revenge against Kenya following their defeat last year while Kenya will be seeking to maintain dominance against the neighbours with 5-0.

The Mildred Cheche coached side is brimming with confidence ahead of Uganda’s Teen Cranes, willing to shine at home after playing to a 1-1 draw in the first leg played last weekend in Uganda.

In Uganda, Shadia Nabirye scored for the hosts before Emily Adhiambo levelled for the Junior Starlets.

The 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup is set to be held in Morocco from 17 October to 8 November 2026, with Kenya aiming to secure its second appearance after the 2024 debut in the Dominican Republic
