Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) champions General Service Unit (GSU) and Kenya Pipeline Company (KPC) will start their Nandi County, the 4thleg KVF league against new comers Naks and Bomet County in men and women respectively.
Occupying 3rd position on the KVF League, GSU will play three matches, starting with debutants Naks at 9:00am followed by perennial rivals Kenya Prisons, who are occupying 6th position before ending meeting with Equity Bank. The bankers occupy top position with 15 points from five matches played.
Equity bank, who are enjoying the top, will start their campaign to restore their lead against Bomet County at 9:00am before facing Kahawa Garrison (1:00pm) before ending with GSU at 3:00pm.
Leading women’s table is defending champions KPC, who have an advantage against their opponents.
The Africa Club championships bronze medalist has played four matches and gained 12 points against their second placed Bungoma County which has so far played 6 games with 12 points while debutants Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) occupy third position with ten points from six matches.
KPC and GSU failed to compete at the first leg following their assignment at the Africa Club championships in Cairo, Egypt.
