Africa under 20 5,000n bronze medalist Reuben Longosiwa wants to fit into the shoes of his elder brother Thomas Longosiwa where he will be chasing 10,000m at the Olympic Games trials set for today.
“I want my country to be the best in 10,000m. I was to run 5,000m but I was not well prepared well hence concentrating in 10,000m after earning the qualification time at the Olympic pre-trials last month. My expectations are to try my best to win the slot,” said Longosiwa.
He added that they need to do their best and as he trains, other Kenyans are training too so is their opponents in other countries.
