He added that they really need to improve at the Olympics especially for those who will cut into the team.

“Just like me, I want to cut into the team and for those who will, I wish them the best as I want the same slot too. Today I trained about 5km and I feel my body is good, in stable condition for the trials,” added Kwemoi.

He says that the training has been good expectations of cutting into the team.

“Just like any other runner, I want the slot for the Olympics and God will bless those who will run.”

On juniors who will compete at the World under 20 championships, he said that anybody can break his seven year old record saying it is not his race only

“Someone will come and break it but I want to tell them that they should do better to break it because they have the potential to do it. As we host the world under 20, since I have not been watching juniors run, I hope they will break it.”
