Despite the Africa Senior Athletics Championships being postponed due to the surge of coronavirus, Athletics Kenya will hold national trials for championships.
On Wednesday, the Confederation of Africa Athletics (CAA) postponed the biennial championships that were to be hosted in the Algeria capital, Algiers on 24th to 28th June to unknown dates.
But AK will proceed to hold national trials for track and field events between May 27th and 29th at the Nyayo stadium.
The event is set to present athletes with an opportunity to seal qualification times for the Olympic Games which is set for July 23- August 8 in Tokyo, Japan
