Hyundai Motorsport has announced that World Rally champion Ott Tanak, Thierry Neuville Dani Sordo will lead the team for the World Rally Championships to be staged in Naivasha next June 24th to 27th.
On Thursday, Hyundai named the 2009 world champion Tanak of Estonia with Germany navigator Martin Jarveoja as well as Neuvillle, Martin Wydaeghe while Dani Sordo of Spain will join forces with compatriot Borja Rozada.
On their official twitter handle @HMSGOoocial, they announced “We are happy to announce our line-up for @wrcsafarirally, a brand new challenge for teams and crews. 8- Ott Tanak and Martin Jarveoja, 11- Thierry Neuville and Marttin Wydaeghe and 6-Dani Sordo and Borja Rozada.”
Hyundai made its return to WRC competition in 2014 with an all-new team and ambitious long-term plans for success in rallying’s top class.
Tänak and Neuville have led Hyundai’s 2021 attack, with Dani Sordo and Craig Breen sharing the third car. The Korean firm wasn’t new to the WRC.
