Moses Akaranga will be battling for the seat of Football Kenya Federation ahead of the national elections set for October this year.
The former Vihiga Governor will be joining a host of other contenders that includes the current chairman Nick Mwendwa for the position.
Akaranga nurtured Vihiga United that was dropped from the Kenya Premier League to the National Super League (NSL).
He is also the brainchild behind Vihiga Bullets that was promoted to NSL in the 2019/2020 season.
