Harambee Starlets striker Esse Akida has extended her contract with Greek Women Premier League giants FC PAOK Thessaloniki for one year.
Akida, who once played for Turkish giants Besiktas, returned Kenya and won the Kenya Women’s Premier League title with Thika Queens.
On her twitter handle, Akida wrote that she has a new contract with her team
Akida signed a one-and-a-half-year deal with leaders FC PAOK Thessaloniki that has now been extended.
Akida’s contract with Besiktas was terminated mid-2020 when sports activities were suspended due to the Covid- 19 pandemic.
She once played for Israeli women top tier side FC Ramat Hasharon for a year as well before switching to Besiktas
