Athletics Kenya has postponed the planned weekend World Athletics Relays national trials until further notice.
Today, the federation announced that the event, without giving any reason to postpone the championships to unknown date.
In a communique today, the athletes’ federation wrote: “We would like to inform the public that the Athletics Kenya trials for 2021 World Athletics Relays earlier scheduled for Saturday 27th March 2021 has been postponed. The event that was to be held at the Nyayo National stadium will now be held at a date to be communicated later.”
It continued: “We apologize for any inconveniences caused by the change and wish to request our athletes to continue with their training in preparations for the trials and consequent World Athletics Relays.”
