Athletics Kenya is set to rescue more Kenyan runners stuck in India due to coronavirus.
The Tuesday afternoon show will see the federation and, ministry of sports will facilitate the return of Gedion Kipkurui, Alexander Ngéno, Isaac Mburugu, Dalmas Kiprono and Isaac Kihara from Mumbai, India aboard a Kenya Airways.
The cost of ferrying the athletes back to the country from Mumbai is Sh387,000 with each athlete costing Sh77,400.
The return will see an increase of repatriated athletes to 12 that Michael Biwott, Millicent Gathoni, Benjamin Kipkasi and Isaac Kipkemoi from Bengaluru on June 5th.
