Kipyegon, Kayange to lead Kenyans in Olympic celebrations

Reigning Olympic 1500m champion Faith Kipyegon and former Kenya Sevens captain Humprey Kayange will today join 23 other athletes across the world to celebrate the International Olympic Day.

The Kenyan stars will join the Olympic video from their respective locations due to coronavirus.

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) selected23 Olympic athletes to take part in the live workout video streaming live on the IOC Instagram account @olympics from 11 am, Kenyan time, in different time zones.

It will be the largest 24-hour digital Olympic workout, escalating the efforts of over 5,000 Olympians who have engaged over 243 million people online across 50 countries through the #staystrong, #stayactive, #stayhealthy campaign.
