Bandari FC, Bidco United and Nairobi City Stars collected maximum points in today’s Kenya Premier League matches while Sofapaka drew.
Playing at their home ground in Mbaraki stadium, Bandari FC thrashed Kariobangi Sharks 4-1.
Ugandan Umaru Kasumba scored first for Bandari in the 17th minute as William Wadri’s converted spot doubled the score and Sharks’ captain Eric Kapaito pulled one back through the penalty but Benjamin Mosha bagged a brace to sink the sharks.
The win lifts Bandari to sixth place with 31 points, level with Sharks who have an inferior goal difference.
At Narok stadium, Nairobi City Stars defeated former champions Nzoia Sugar by a solitary goal scored by substitute Rodgers Okumu. With the win, Stars are now on 32 points after 21 matches.
Stephen Waruru scored a solitary goal when newbies Bidco United edged out returnees Vihiga United at Thika stadium.
The 78th minute goal moved Bidco to 11th on 26 points from 20 matches while Vihiga remained in the 15th on 15 points.
2009 champions Sofapaka played out to a barren draw against former champions Ulinzi stars at the at Utalii Grounds.
