William Wadri scored the solitary goal when Bandari FC beat Vihiga United in the FKF Premier League match at Nakuru ASK ground today as Nzoia and Western Stima shared points at the same venue.
Wadri’s 45th minute goal sealed the victory for the Coast based club when he converted a penalty when Sammy Sindani handled a goal bound shot.
Following the win, Andre Cassa Mbungo side moved to the 7th position with 36 points from 24 matches while Vihiga are still in the relegation zone 16th position with 16 points from similar matches.
Nzoia Sugar twice came from behind down to earn a point against relegation bound Western Stima at the same venue.
Stima’s striker Baron Oketch scored the first goal in the 7th minute before Joseph Mwangi equalized in the 40th minute into the break with a one-all draw.
After resumption, Stima restored the lead in the 76th minute through Rodgers Ouma but Kevin Juma scored in the 88th minute to hand sugar millers a 2-all draw.
