Bandari, Nzoia win premier league matches

Bandari FC ad Nzoia Sugar collected maximum points in today’s FKF premier league matches played across the country.

Banadari FC rallied from behind to beat Kakamega Homeboyz 2-1 while Nzoia Sugar defeated Wazito by the similar margin at Sudi Stadium in Bungoma.

Johanna Mwita and Umar Kasumba scored for Bandari to beat their hosts Kakamega Homeboyz 1-2 at the Bukhungu after coming from a goal down when David Odhaimbo had scored earlier.

The win has propelled coast based Bandari to fourth on 46 points, while Homeboyz drop to eighth on 43 points.

A brace from Hillary Simiyu earned Nzoia maximum points with Kevin Kimani netting a consolation for Wazito after converting the penalty.

With the win, the sugar millers move to 14th on 29 points while Wazito remain ninth on 42 points.

KCB played to a barren draw against Gor to remain second on 58 points Thika Stadium.
